A new collaboration with Rachel Hines (http://rachelhines.com/), long-time friend and colleague of 8+ years, Rachel sent me these dryer sheet drawings of anatomical hearts, drawn with black paint, about four months ago.  Here is the beginning of my collaborative response.  Embroidery and applique work have called out as the most appealing media and techniques so far, but I am leaving open the window for other approaches to emerge in the following three versions of the heart.
