A week-long collaborative installation with fiber, light, sound and pattern by Tyler Mackie and Lindsey Maestri, with live, alternative sound performance, by Eric Shuster.

An environment that evoked memories of being tied to your mother’s apron strings, proceeded by the discovery that you then tied yourself to your own apron strings, swaddled in an overwhelming sense of comfort, suffocation, delight and uncertain pathways.

Funding and space provided by Culture Candy with assistance from The City of Baton Rouge and the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge.  Classroom 4, second floor of the Shaw Center for the Arts, Baton Rouge, LA.

Closing reception took place May 8, 2009.
